Welcome
I am a staff photographer at The State newspaper in Columbia, South Carolina. Previously I worked at the Panama City News Herald in the Florida panhandle, where I have won numerous awards including first place for sports action photography in the National Press Photographers Association's Best of Photojournalism awards. Also, I covered daily life, Hurricane Michael and its aftermath. Before joining the News Herald staff, I was a staff photographer at the Texarkana Gazette, interned across the United States and India, made a blended-narrative website with video and reporting I did in South Africa and completed graduate school at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
